INSTRUCTIONS
Correspondence Course, Two Years Semester System Programme 2020-2022
 
CATEGORY-I EMPLOYEE & OTHERS : 50 SEATS.
CATEGORY-II DEFENSE OFFICERS: 50 SEATS.
 

1. Eligibility: Candidate who have passed Bachelor's Degree or Master's in any discipline from any recognized University or an examination recognized there to or have passed the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or equivalent or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or equivalent with working experience of one year. The candidate should have at least 50% marks in Graduation/Post Graduation) (SC/ST 45%)

 

2. Guidelines in Brief

The students seeking admission to MBA (Correspondence Course) course are advised to follow following steps:
STEP ONE: Fill the Application Test Form Online
STEP TWO: Pay Rs.1500 as Application Fee
STEP THREE: Submit the form
STEP FOUR: Successful candidates to appear for Documents verification.

3. Detailed Guidelines

STEP-1: Registration Procedure
1. Open www.smspup.ac.in
2. Fill the Registration Form Online
3. You will be issued a User ID and Password (through email)
4. Note down your User ID for future use. This completes your registration process. To fill your application form please refer to STEP 2.

Note: In case of non issuance of User-ID and / or password, kindly contact the office of School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala at 0175-3046206, 07.

STEP-2: Fill Online Application Form
1. Open www.smspup.ac.in and open the Application Form by clicking on Apply button in the concerned course category using your User ID & password (generated at the end of successful registration).
2. Fill the Application Form Online (Provide relevant information regarding your academic record, reservation category, etc.)
3. Make payment using one of the following modes:
a. Online Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking
b. Pay-in-slip of State Bank of India

(NOTE: In case of (b) it is mandatory to upload a clear legible snapshot of the pay-in-slip of the fees deposited in any branch of the concerned bank or university cash counter.)

4. The candidate has to upload his / her recent scanned passport sized photograph and signatures before submitting the application form (It is suggested to keep the afore-mentioned items ready before filling the application form)
5. After successfully filling up the Application Form, carefully review the information provided in Application Form and then click on SUBMIT button.
6. Upon successful submission of Application Form, candidate will be intimated on his or her e-mail ID.
7. The registered candidates can edit information filled by them in the Application Form for a limited period using their User ID and password issued to them.

STEP-3: Print The Form

Registered candidates whose payment has been confirmed and who have successfully completed STEP 2, can print their application forms (sent on their registered e-mail IDs).

Instructions for all Categories
LIST OF CERTIFICATES TO BE ATTACHED WITH APPLICATION FORM (as Soft Copy)
 

1. Copy of B.A./B.Sc./B.E. /M.A./M.Sc/M.Com./M.E./ or equivalent examination, marks- sheet and degree for candidates claiming admission on the basis of academic qualifications.

2. The candidate who will be selected for admission to the course will have to submit original migration certificate/No objection certificate from the University/Institution last attended.

3. Copy of certificate of NDA/IMA or any other equivalent course, viz. OTS/OTA Indian
Air Force Academy/Naval Academy with a copy of one of the seven courses mentioned below.
(a) Defence Service Staff College Course
(b) Technical Staff Officers Course
(c) Long Defence Management Course
(d) Senior Defence Management Course
(e) High Command Course
(f) Advanced Air Armament Staff Officers Course
(g) Specialised Advanced Course of various Armed Services

4. In case of Defence Officers, it is to be submitted through the Director General (Resettlement), Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, West Block IV, Sector-I, R.K. Puram,
New Delhi-II 0066.

5. No objection certificate from the employer.

 
Note: Incomplete forms shall be rejected straightway.

ONLINE APPLICATION FEE

The application fee (without late fee) for MBA (Correspondence Course) is as follows:

Application Processing-cum-Group Discussion Fee along with Document Verification Fee

(for all candidates)

Rs. 1500/-

 

For application submitted after due dates the late fee will be charged.
